Finding Your Serial Number

Your product's serial number is usually printed on a label on the back, bottom, or side of the unit, or on the original packaging box.

For Synology, EnGenius, and D-Link devices, look for a label marked "S/N" or "Serial Number".

  • Check the device label

    Look on the back, bottom, or side panel of the unit for a sticker listing the model number and serial number (S/N).

  • Check the original packaging

    The same serial number is usually printed on a label on the outside of the retail box, often next to a barcode.

  • Check your invoice or receipt

    Many resellers list the serial number on the purchase invoice — check there if the physical label is hard to read.
